Cultural Fabric of Tompkins County: Chinese and Hungarian Communities

Co-curated with History Center curator Cindy Kjellander-Cantu, this two-sided display featured the histories of the Tang family, owners of the Asiatic Garden Restaurant, and the origins of the Hungarian community in Ithaca. This was part of a larger exhibit on the history of the US census titled “reCOUNT: Facing Our Census.”
